Transparancy is still a luxury
Created a series of conceptual images. All around the topic that what’s inside the products we use, eat and drink, often isn’t mentioned on the ingredient labels. Unfortunately transparency is still a luxury…
”I consume, therefore I am” is a common (para)phrase. As a customer, I like to know what products are made of before I decide whether or not to consume them. So, I think (pun intended) the original quote: ”Cogito ergo sum” aka “I think, therefore I am” by R. Descartes is better in place here.
Texts are in Dutch. You can also let the images just speak for themselves to get some food for thought.
¡ Trigger warning ! Having a peek is at your own risk:
Created this design for Conceptual Styling for Academy Vogue in Amsterdam. These slides were part of a larger presentation, inspired on and supposedly designed for Keuringsdienst van Waarde (KvW). Also, a logo of KvW was added to the images and poster designs. Due to copyright these logos and extra slides about the brand were removed before adding to this website.
Want to learn more? Check out the (Dutch) website of Keuringsdienst van Waarde; they provide an insight into the production of food and other consumer products to bring (alleged) abuses to light. Definetely recommended.
